Job Summary
The Electrician’s Apprentice supports Signature’s electrical install and service teams while learning the trade on the path to becoming an Install Electrician. Working under the direct supervision of a licensed electrician, the apprentice assists with running circuits for AC installs, service panel work, and equipment connections — building the hands-on skills, code knowledge, and job-site judgment needed to advance. The apprentice is expected to learn actively, take direction well, and grow their capabilities on every job.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with running circuits and pulling wire for installs
- Help install and wire electrical service panels under direct supervision
- Support final equipment connections and operational testing
- Stage job sites, set materials, and keep tools organized and accounted for
- Learn and apply NEC and local electrical and building codes on the job
- Follow all safety protocols under the direction of a licensed electrician
- Actively pursue apprenticeship hours and training toward Journeyman licensure
- Ask questions, seek feedback, and continually build skills and product knowledge

Education & Experience
- Enrolled in, or eligible to register for, a New Mexico electrical apprenticeship
- Working toward NM Journeyman licensure
- Basic knowledge of electrical safety and hand tools preferred

- Must be physically able to lift, lower, push, and pull objects of up to 50 lbs. unassistedAbility to stand, sit, walk, walk on uneven surfaces or unstable ground, climb, bend, stoop, reach, balance, talk, hear, taste, smell, and crouch, all for extended periods of time
